Proofreading is an essential part of the translation process. The perfection of the translation can only be achieved with the proofreading of the text. We perform linguistic, stylistic and preprint proofreading. Always with the option of choosing a trained translator or a native speaker.

What is the workflow like?

Request – specification of your requirements, languages, delivery date, proofreading preferences (grammar/stylistic/formatting) and document submission.

Price calculation – pricing of the actions requested by you and determination of the execution date.

Approval – we always wait for the offer to be approved, after it is approved, a contract for the work is signed.

Proofreading – one of our colleagues is working on the job. We keep you informed about the work progress so that you always have an overview of the work progress.

Submission of the finished document – finished document is sent to the client.

Proofreading is divided into two parts. Grammatical and stylistic.
As part of grammar proofreading, we correct gross errors in words, misspellings, correct incorrectly written numbers, upper and lower case letters, punctuation, direct speech, etc.
In the case of stylistic proofreading, we rewrite the overall composition of the sentences without changing their essence. This includes, for example, editing long sentences, repeated use of words, etc. Stylistic proofreading focuses on the stylistic side of the text and thus its refinement (= suitable choice of words, fluent construction of sentences and their connection into a coherent text).
